Will the messages sound like me?

Yes. The messages are written in your voice, and you approve every one before anything goes out. If one is off, it changes until it sounds like you.

The short answer

Yes. They're written in your voice, and you approve them before anything goes out.

If a message doesn't sound like you, it doesn't get sent. That's the whole rule.

How we learn your voice

We start with how you already talk. Your website, your emails, a few things you've written, and the way you describe your work on the first call.

Then we write a first set of messages. You read them. You tell us what's wrong, and we fix it. This usually takes a couple of rounds.

What "your voice" covers

  • Your words. If you say "folks" and never "clients", the messages say "folks".
  • Your length. Some owners write three lines. Others write a paragraph.
  • Your tone. Warm, dry, formal, or plain.
  • Your promises. Nothing goes out that you wouldn't say to someone's face.

What you approve

Everything. The first message, the follow-ups, and any change we suggest later.

Nothing is sent until you say yes. The 30-minute check-ins are there to adjust the wording as we learn what gets a reply.

What happens when replies come in

Here's where people worry most. An AI sales assistant answers the easy questions fast, so interested people don't wait. A person on our team watches the conversations that need one and drafts the reply for your approval.

You don't have to answer anything at midnight. You take the call once it's booked.

What it can't do

It can't read your mind. If you tell us you're "friendly but direct" and then reject every direct message, we'll keep adjusting. That takes a few rounds, and we'd rather you were patient with it than disappointed.

It also won't pretend to be you in a live conversation. The call is yours.

Who might not like this

If you want to write every message yourself, you'll be happier doing outreach on your own. It's free, and you'll learn faster. We'd never talk you out of that.

The longer version

People sometimes worry that a message written by a team will read as stiff or salesy, and the fair answer is that a first draft often does, which is exactly why the approval step exists, since a few rounds of your edits teach us more about how you really talk than any amount of reading your website could. Your corrections are the training. Each round gets closer.

If you're not sure how you sound, that's normal, since few people have ever heard their own business voice from the outside, and in that case we start by reading a few of your emails and listening to how you explain your work on the call, then show you two or three versions side by side so you can point at the one that feels right. Pointing is enough. You don't need the words.
